I had heard a lot about doctor who and i hadn'e known at the time who he was. so i finally decided to watch the first episode with the ninth doctor. At first i was all "*sigh* let's get this over with." Well now i am very glad i made that decision I'm still on the first season(like somewhere around episode 7 or 9) and nearing the end of it. Well, i know what my favorite non-cartoon show is now
Weeeeeeell... just keep watching It's amazing. I once saw just a five minute part of the first episode on the telly, and I was hooked. Didn't know anything about it before, and now... I always watch it, every new episode
haha. Well, i'll try and find some time in between school work to watch more on netflix. Same here. within the first 5 minutes i was all "Oh my Jesus, i gotta see what happens!" Watching the second got me even more into it. It's really funny how all the people who sit at my table in class also like Doctor who. So does my teacher . I'd watch it from the BBC channel if i wasn't stuck with a tv that can only input two numbers while the family room tv can have four numbers inputted .
I know, I know, he was my first Doctor, too After the first season ended, I tried watching the old series. And... I failed. While I am a bit of a geek, I'm not that geeky to want to watch TV shows made with primitive equipment. The way they made all those old movies (I know, in 100 years, today's movies will be primitive) just really makes me frustrated. Maybe that's why I do't watch old movies, not just Doctor Who.
